About the Orchestra

Sakskoebing Marching and Concert Band was founded in 1961.

The band is for young and some a bit older, whom join together to play music, concerts, marching and of course to have a lot of fun.

Today we have about 50 - 60 events a year, that goes from city fastivals, sport events and church concerts to travalling abroad.

Every monday, we practice in instrument groups and every thursday we practice with the entire Orchestra. From April to September we also practice marching and tattoo.

Another very important issue, being a part of the band, are the social elements - like having fun when we practice and we have one or two social weekends planned every year.
